I've always been fascinated by faces. Not in a strange, staring-at-strangers-on-the-tube sort of way — more that I find the architecture of a face genuinely beautiful. The bone structure, the symmetry (or delicious lack of it), the way the right light on the right skin can stop you in your tracks. I just never wanted to stop looking. So naturally, I made it my job.
I feel very privileged being part of someone's special day. I love meeting people. I love weddings. And I absolutely love a good face.
My Story
​​I've been working as a makeup artist for over seven years having trained with some brilliant educators along the way — David Horne in London for makeup training, Botias, Kristina Gasperas Academy/Kasia Fortuna and many masterclasses with Delemar academy including Hannah Martin. What started as a passion for bridal work has grown into something much bigger: bridal hair and makeup, occasion looks, commercial and headshot work, makeup lessons, lash lifts, brow lamination... if it involves the face, I'm probably already thinking about it.

In 2022, 2023 and 2024, I was recognised as a TWIA (The Wedding Industry Awards) regional finalist —and I won and placed in categories for The Bridal Makeup Awards in 2024 and 2025 which felt pretty wonderful, not because I'm in it for the trophies (I'm not), but because it reflects something my clients have always said: that they feel genuinely looked after, and they leave looking like themselves, only better. That's the goal. Every time. For every single person who sits in my chair.

My work has been featured in Your Surrey Wedding and Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wedding Magazine, and I've worked on commercial projects with Wed2B. I've had the absolute pleasure of working at some extraordinary venues across Berkshire, Surrey, and beyond — from sun-drenched country houses to intimate Windsor ceremonies. No two days are ever the same. That's exactly how I like it.​

My signature style is natural and polished — skin-perfecting foundation, luminous dewy texture, and a focus on the eyes that ranges from barely-there fresh to soft and smoky, depending on what makes you feel most yourself.
I'm not a fan of heavy, mask-like makeup. I want you to look in the mirror and see the most beautiful version of you — not a different person entirely. And I want you to still look like yourself in your wedding photos thirty years from now.

Skin is always the starting point. Get the skin right and everything else falls into place. Which is why I also spend time in the run-up to your wedding talking about skincare preparation, products that genuinely work, and how to care for your skin in the weeks before your big day.

Windsor and Berkshire are my heartland, but I regularly work across Surrey, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and desintation when the right wedding calls for it.

Got a large bridal party? I work with a few trusted assistants (brilliant girls!) to make sure everyone's ready beautifully and on time. No rushing.

AND ONE FINAL THING... The name Millie
People ask about the name fairly often. The truth is simple: I named the business after my daughter. She's the reason I do everything with a bit more heart in it.
The slightly less simple truth is that I get called Millie all the time now. By clients, by venue coordinators, occasionally by my own family in moments of confusion. And honestly? I'm completely fine with it. At this point it feels like a natural extension of who I am — a business built on warmth, care, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel genuinely beautiful. Millie would probably approve.
